Take the image in you mind to the custom hand created piece you get to take home with you.
How it works
Custom is a mix of the newest jewelry technology and the ancient metal smith techniques to create your dream piece.
Step 1: Consultation
During your complimentary consultation we get to know you, what your style is and what it is you are looking to create. We design with you. Assisting your dreams with our knowledge of over 30 years of designing. You can have as much or as little input as you want during this step. We encourage you to bring along images, Pinterest boards, and your own sketches to illustrate the design aspects that inspire your idea.
Consolations are done in person at Diny’s Jewelers. We appreciate appointments. Drop bys are always welcome.
Step 2: Deposit
During or shortly after, depending on the scope of your design project, we will give you a price estimate based on the initial design direction. To begin the initial design we ask for half down as a deposit before we move onto the next steps with you.
Step 3: Design
Your designer is now going to spend the next week or two creating your initial design.
Step 4: Prototypes and design changes
This is where you get to see what you and the designer have worked to design. You get to make any changes you would like before we start creating the final design. We will not go ahead to the next step until you are happy with the prototype and we receive your approval.
Major changes will result in a the need for a new estimate and potentially an adjustment in the deposit.
Step 5: Create
Then we cast and hand finish your piece. Setting stones, and fabricating the final product as needed. We make sure that it meets our high quality standards before we evaluate your piece for a Lifetime Appraisal and contact you that it is ready.
Custom heirloom redesigns tend to start around $1,000 and average $2,000-$4,000. But can be higher or lower depending on the project and materials used. Before work starts your designer will give you and estimate specific to your project.
Pricing depends on the fine metal used, stones, and intricacy of design.
